X360 Girl - Where did it all go wrong?
Every once in a while, the world of gaming presents a scene that triggers my irrational anger. For instance, the sight of perfectly healthy and capable people begging for my hard earned money.
Abandoned kittens, starving children, and homeless grandparents; these are some things that make a person want to reach out and lend a helping hand. And because the world is full of so many generous people, there are those on this planet who want to see how far they can stretch your generosity. Welcome to the wild and wonderful world of e-panhandling.
X 360 girl wants you to buy her an Xbox 360.
Her background story begins with a cheating boyfriend, and a love for Halo 3. Hold on to your seats. In the YouTube video created to assure prospective donors that this wasn’t a scam, Miss X360 Girl states that she’ll do anything (other than getting a job), glibly making mention of also getting an Xbox Live vision camera.
I know I should empathize with her plight; after all, I’ve been there. I definitely agree that it’s hard to wake up every day and go to work when you’re trying to rank up in Halo 3. My heart weeps, and I’m sure that yours does too. I’m crying for humanity’s sake as I envision masses of gamers with their wallets in one hand, and their joysticks in the other who will be jumping at the opportunity of a lifetime; the chance to dole out the cash in a wave of generosity never seen before. Excuse me while I grab a tissue to dab my eyes. Would you like one too?
Two-ply, or extra soft?
According to the donation meter that is placed on her blog, X360 Girl has received a total of $7.65.
(Awkward silence)
Okay, see here: Can’t a girl at least get an even bill when she’s going through the trouble of pandering on the Internet? Jeez!
While I have no money to give, I do have some free advice for X360 Girl:
X360 Girl, I know so little about you. But what I do know is that you’re a woman with an unmade bed and stained Mickey Mouse pajama pants who is offering to video chat people for money. Don’t take it personally. I’m sure it wasn’t you. Maybe it was you. No matter what happens, always remember that you’re still an inspiration to those who don’t want to work or do laundry. And if you keep trying, you can still make it in this life. Say, do you have change for a ten?
Ha-ha, just kidding.

Sometimes I wish the internet was a place only for the few, the proud. A place where secret passwords are always needed in order to do anything. A place where Rick Rolling is the greatest form of personal insult…
But nay… It is a place filled with semi-attractive slunts like this lady who would rather milk it for all its worth.
You know what… I am happy to donate once she takes it off ![]()

I love how her “boyfriend” introduced her to Halo 3 long before Halo 3 was actually out. What a stud!
