Pirates Vs. Ninjas DodgeBall delayed to include traditional modes
The Xbox Live Arcade game Pirates Vs. Ninjas Dodgeball (which also happens to contain zombies and robots) has been delayed so developer Blazing Lizard can incorporate “traditional modes” of dodgeball, also known as the fun modes.
I was excited when I heard PvN Dodgeball was going to be released. There hasn’t been a good dodgeball game since Super Dodgeball for the NES. Then, my excitement was crushed when they also revealed that the only modes in the game would limit players to one ball on the court at a time and contain new rules like having health bars and attacks that don’t include dodgeballs at all. Lame right?
So Blazing Lizard has decided to delay the game so they can incorporate traditional dodgeball rules. You know, the kind you played in sixth-grade gym where the teacher lays out some nice hard rubber balls on the court, then goes outside to have a smoke while all the kids throw balls at you.
This time around you can have the same fun without the concussions. Look for the game on XBLA this spring where you can play with your friends both online and locally.
