Xbox 360 Lips being announced tomorrow?
Yeah, you got me with this one too. But rumor has it that a new Xbox 360 accessory is going to be announced at tomorrow’s Microsoft Gamerday 08 in San Fransisco. The code name (and lord I hope it’s just a code name) is Lips. Also rumored to make an appearance is the Newton, supposedly a Wii style controller for the Xbox 360 and something called Radon IV.
UPDATE: It looks like Lips is some sort of voice communication hardware. I have to believe it must be something more than a microphone. I suspect it may be a bit of voice recognition hardware that will somehow interface with your controller to control not only games but the 360 dashboard too? But that is just a guess, we’ll have to wait until tomorrow to see what the Xbox team is up to.

Lips doesn’t sound like hardware to me. If I had to guess I’d say that they’re making available the software kit that is making voice recoginition so good in “Endwar” and offering it as a control scheme.
Pure speculation by somebody who’s completely uninformed, but it makes sense to my brain.
Wolfman-K Well they never actually came out with Lips or the Newton. Perhaps they are holding those out for E3?
Rumor is the Lips is hardware and it’s real, but it looks to be maybe a microphone, for use with a SingStar like game????
Racingfreak92 i hope its not another accessory, i already got a damn mic (which is of terrible build quality btw), i dont want another mic for speaking to a computer
